Matter Opens this Thursday at the Bakery

Bakery resident mi-workshop, which curates a yearly design exhibition, is exploring the ever-fascinating creative process of art and design works from around the world for this year's show, Matter, opening this Thursday.
 
 
 
Miki Iwasaki of mi-workshop collaborated with architecture instructor Philipp Bosshart to showcase the creation process of art and design objects via prototypes, studies and works in progress. Artists and designers include architect Casey Mahon, architectural designers FreelandBuck, Spacecraft gallery co-founder Christopher Puzio, San Diego-based artist Matthew Hebert (aka eleet warez), architects Oyler Wu Collaborative, interdisciplinary designers Studiomake and San Diego-based Rinehart Herbst, among many others.
 
The opening reception is this Thursday, September 1st, from 6 to 10 pm, and Miho Gastrotruck will be there to feed you. The show closes September 10th. The Bakery is at 1701 National Avenue, downtown in Barrio Logan.
