Thread took over downtown's Horton Plaza yesterday with a myriad of clothing, accessories, hair design, giveaways, runway shows and all around super 'chido' trendiness. An eclectic mix of jockeyed beats filled the halls as consumers browsed the merchandise from indie vendors hailing from all over the country.
Fashion ranging from outerwear to underwear could be found in three different rooms taking over the Horton Plaza Expo Center. The blind taste tests from
Smirnoff Vodka and free martinis from
Hpnotiq were tempting, but as it was Sunday at 2pm, I was more excited to opt for the on-site massage from
Chiropractique and personal makeover session with the folks at
Diesel Salon.
Coupled with screen printing from our friends over at
Sezio and runway shows throughout the day, Thread put on an amazing event once again for individuals looking to mesh fashion, music and culture.
