We spilled the beans on the concept last
week but last night we excitedly snapped a few iphone pics and slurped some soup at the soft opening.
My wife hates eggs so I took one for the team and housed the entire soft boiled egg in one bite. Not a highlight of the evening. The rest of the signature UnderBelly Ramen was outstanding. Savory broth, fresh noodles (which were a little more al dente than I was expecting, but great that way), and both the char su belly and applewood bacon pieces were fatty, juicy, mouthful meat treats.
These guys are famous for saying No!
First it was no Ketchup (Neighborhood)
then it was no Vodka (Craft & Commerce)
now it is no Spoons (UnderBelly). This is a slurp only establishment.
We aren't arguing with them.
